6. Brandin Cooks, WR, Houston Texans

I had to throw this in here for a bit of satire, so just know that this is not widely expected to happen, by any means.

But seriously, when is Brandin Cooks going to be traded?

Cooks has been traded already three times before the age of 28. He has been a 1,000-yard receiver for the New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, and now Houston Texans.

It’s crazy that this model of consistency has been devalued so much in today’s pass-happy NFL, but here we are.

Even when he is limited in games due to injury, Cooks has proven that he can make a tremendous impact on games. The Houston Texans acquired him for a second-round pick last offseason, and they don’t have one of those in 2021.

Without clarity regarding Deshaun Watson, Cooks might honestly be one of the most valuable players they have and someone who could net them a legitimate return in a trade.

Although it doesn’t feel overly likely, the Texans could trade Cooks to the highest bidder. They would only be the fourth team to do so.
