2. Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have spent much of the 2021 offseason dumping players and salary off the books.

They made a trade with the Miami Dolphins to move out of the sixth pick in the 2021 NFL Draft in exchange for future picks.

The possibility now exists for the Eagles to have three first-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft depending on what happens with Carson Wentz and the Indianapolis Colts.

With Dallas Goedert in the final year of his contract with the team, the Eagles may look to move away from veteran Zach Ertz, who has been the subject of trade rumors for months at this point.

The closer we get to the 2021 NFL Draft, the more teams are going to realize that there is no preferable option to Ertz in this draft class outside of Kyle Pitts, who could be the first non-quarterback off the board entirely.

Teams looking at tight end as a need should be calling the Eagles for Ertz, and he seems likely to be one of the veteran players on the move at some point during the 2021 NFL Draft.
