2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 13th overall

OT. Virginia Tech. Christian Darrisaw. 13. Pick Analysis. player. 13. Scouting Report

The Los Angeles Chargers have done a great job of improving their offensive line this offseason but there is still plenty of work to do. The left tackle position still stands out as a massive need for this team but they have an opportunity to address the spot here at No. 13.

Christian Darrisaw is a big, long and athletic offensive tackle prospect who has massive upside at the next level. He is quick off of the ball, moves well in space and shows good power at the point of attack. Darrisaw uses his quick feet and long arms extremely well in pass protection and undoubtedly has a chance to be an impact blindside protector for many years. Protecting Justin Herbert has to be priority No. 1 for the Chargers and Darrisaw undoubtedly helps in that area.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 14th overall

Scouting Report. Kwity Paye. 14. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Michigan. player. 60

The Minnesota Vikings have an obvious need on the edge and they would undoubtedly love to find a player who can help them defend the run. Some may consider Kwity Paye a reach in this range but his overall ability up front will likely appeal to the Vikings in a big way.

Paye is a big and strong defensive lineman who can win with power at the point of attack. He is a capable run defender who shows fills gaps well and can make plays as a run and chase player. While Paye is certainly a big edge defender, do not sleep on his ability to move. Paye displays an explosive first step at all times and shows impressive natural short-area quickness.

Simply put, he has a combination of size, power and athleticism that gives him massive upside at the next level. The Vikings have an obvious need at the edge rusher position and Paye feels like the perfect player to fill that hole.
