And boom goes the dynamite! The Washington Football Team is one of the most interesting teams in the entire league. They have put together an exciting group of players on both sides of the ball and could become legitimate contenders if they can just figure out their quarterback situation. With Justin Fields slipping down the board a bit, Washington would be wise to get aggressive.

This move up would not be cheap but Fields is a player worth making this kind of significant investment, especially for a team that could legitimately be a quarterback away from something special.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 7th overall

58. Pick Analysis. QB. Ohio State. 7. player. Scouting Report. Justin Fields

Justin Fields is an incredibly talented quarterback prospect who undoubtedly has massive upside at the next level. He is a tremendous dual-threat playmaker whose combination of arm talent, athleticism and raw speed consistently stand out on tape. Fields is also an extremely accurate passer who reads the field well and does a great job of playing outside the structure of the offense when needed.

Simply put, Fields is one of the most talented quarterback prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft class and the Washington Football Team may be a quarterback away from being real contenders in the NFC. If Fields were to land in Washington and hit his ceiling, this team would immediately become incredibly dangerous.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 8th overall

player. OT. Oregon. Penei Sewell. 8. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 87

This board feels like it falls perfectly for the Carolina Panthers, as they sit back and snag Penei Sewell with the eighth overall pick in this NFL mock draft. Sewell is an incredibly gifted offensive tackle prospect whose combination of power and athleticism make him an impact player as both a run blocker and pass protector.

Left tackle stands out as a major need for the Panthers and Sewell undoubtedly has massive upside at the position. Snagging him at No. 8 is perfect for this team.
