One position group the Denver Broncos could try to double up at with this particular crop of prospects?

Linebacker.

Vic Fangio and John Elway nearly took Devin Bush with the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. They also nearly traded up for Patrick Queen in the 2020 NFL Draft.

There is no doubt that this team is looking for playmakers at the linebacker position and they’ve already got one in this mock draft in Baron Browning. Another high-upside, potentially risky play at linebacker in this class is Michigan’s Cameron McGrone.

This guy has a tremendous combination of size, play speed, and football instincts, but does he have enough time on task? That’s why you probably wait to take him until sometime on day three of the NFL Draft.

His tools could put him out of that range, but there’s no doubt he should be on the Denver Broncos’ radar either way.

If you use two picks on linebackers like Browning and McGrone, you could try to move a player like Alexander Johnson via trade.
