What’s still needed for Kliff Kingsbury, Kyler Murray, and the offense to improve?

The offense currently has a few positions of need including running back, wide receiver, and tight end. Starting with running back, currently, the Cardinals have fan-favorite Chase Edmonds, who has quietly put together multiple impressive seasons in a row and actually outplayed Kenyan Drake the last two years.

The one fear for many with Chase Edmonds is if he has the durability to be an every-down back which we have not seen up to this point in his career. Behind Edmonds, the Cardinals have three other running backs on the roster a big back in Jonathan Ward and ASU product Eno Benjamin who spent the entire 2020 season on the practice squad.

Since this post was submitted for review, the Arizona Cardinals signed free agent running back James Conner, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A few names to watch in the draft include Najee Harris, Javonte Williams, Travis Etienne, Kenneth Gainwell, and Trey Sermon.
