2021 NFL Mock Draft

TRADE: Detroit Lions trade 7th pick to Washington for 19th pick, 74th pick, future picks

North Dakota State. 7. player. 58. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Trey Lance

Someone’s going to make a bold move in the 2021 NFL Draft, and it might as well be the Washington Football Team.

There have been some rumblings that the Detroit Lions are threatening they could take a quarterback, but that could be a smokescreen to try and make their pick all the more valuable in a trade.

Detroit has been collecting future picks and they are well-armed for the future after the Matthew Stafford trade, but this move would give them even more ammunition for the future.

The Washington Football Team won the very weak NFC East last season playing with some house money. Ron Rivera has a heck of a defense on his hands, but that offense needs to get up to speed.

Washington signed Ryan Fitzpatrick in the 2021 free agency period as well as offensive weapon Curtis Samuel. Those guys are upgrades for that side of the ball but the future at QB needs to be addressed for this team after the failure of Dwayne Haskins.

Lance is a dual-threat at the position who is extremely impressive as a runner at this point. If (maybe when) his arm catches up to his legs, this guy could be a superstar.
