2021 NFL Mock Draft: 27th pick

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Azeez Ojulari. 27. 26. EDGE. Georgia. player

The Baltimore Ravens have been somewhat quiet in the 2021 offseason, but they have made some under-the-radar moves that could inch this team ever closer to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC.

Offensively, they brought in cap casualty Kevin Zeitler to stabilize the interior offensive line. They also signed Sammy Watkins away from the Kansas City Chiefs to add even more speed and experience to their receiver room.

Defensively, the Ravens brought back veteran defensive lineman Derek Wolfe, but they said goodbye to pass rusher Matt Judon.

It’s not atypical of the Ravens to be relatively inactive in free agency, as this has long been a team that prefers building through the NFL Draft.

Typically picking at the bottom of the first round, the Ravens always find ways to add value to their roster and make picks on players who have no business going as low as they do.

Azeez Ojulari would fit that description for this team in the class of 2021.

Although Ojulari is not a lock for the top 10 picks by any means, he has flashed the potential of a player who looks like he could be the best pass rusher in a draft class where there is really no consensus in that category.

Ojulari isn’t the biggest or fastest edge rusher prospect, but he’s got tremendous ability to convert his speed to power and use his hands to fend off offensive linemen quickly on his way to the quarterback.

He had 9.5 sacks and four forced fumbles this past season for the Bulldogs and showed his ability to close out games.
