2021 NFL Mock Draft: 17th pick

28. Pick Analysis. Oklahoma State. Teven Jenkins. player. Scouting Report. OT. 17

The Las Vegas Raiders did some gutting in the 2021 offseason, and both Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have got to be feeling some serious pressure.

The Raiders experienced a high point in year one of their transition to Las Vegas, beating the Kansas City Chiefs and looking like a legitimate playoff team early on in the season.

Unfortunately, the roster has not been constructed as well as the team would have hoped after trading away star pass rusher Khalil Mack a couple of years ago.

That trade hasn’t led to the kind of draft success the Raiders would have liked to have seen. With that being said, there’s no time to cry over spilled milk and the Raiders need to right some other offseason wrongs.

Specifically, the Raiders moved right tackle Trent Brown back to his old team, the New England Patriots, leaving a void at the right tackle position.

Although it would seem somewhat surprising, Teven Jenkins would be a total “Raiders” pick as somewhat of a reach here at 17 but a guy who fits the mold of what both Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock love in a player with his physical toughness.
