Pittsburgh Steelers find immediate starters in 7-round mock draft

Round 4 Pick 128: Malcolm Koonce, EDGE, Buffalo
It was an ongoing joke last year that the Pittsburgh Steelers only drafted MAC conference players between Coach Mike Tomlin and former MAC athlete Ben Roethlisberger. Well, the Steelers are in need of outside linebacker depth and there is a guy out of Buffalo who could bring much-needed pass-rushing support. That guy is edge rusher, Malcolm Koonce.
Malcolm Koonce stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs a solid 250 pounds. Koonce is a sturdy athlete with natural pass-rushing ability that fits Pittsburghs 3-4 scheme. Koonce at the moment seems to be more of a situational pass rusher who could give relief to the starters in long-down situations. With flexible arms and hip movement, but not really polished at the craft could be a nice second option at EDGE in the fourth round for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Koonce was predictable at times and does not have many pass-rushing moves to his arsenal. Although being the athlete he is can get him by in the NFL till he betters his craft. Koonce is not an expected starter but is at the moment a nice situational pass rusher the Pittsburgh Steelers add to their already pretty solid pass rush off the edge.
Round 4 Pick 140: Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa
With the Pittsburgh Steelers second choice in the fourth round, they go with Spencer Brown out of Northern Iowa. With veteran tackle Alejandro Villanueva trending on re-signing and giving right tackle Zach Banner a new contract this year the Steelers can afford to wait to draft a tackle. With that being said the fourth round is a nice place to pick a tackle to be a developmental player with a potential starting future.
Spencer Brown is a big tackle who stands at 6-foot-9 and weighs 321 pounds. Brown is a freakishly large pass blocker with a lot of good qualities. The Steelers like their tackles with big frames and Brown posses that with huge size, long arms, and powerful core. Brown plays with a good football IQ and shows solid footwork to be a potential starter on either end for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the future if he can develop properly.
