Having addressed the most pressing issue of the void left by All-Pro guard Marshall Yanda with free-agent addition Kevin Zeitler, the Baltimore Ravens approach to the 2021 NFL Draft becomes open-ended with a selection of potential needs to quench. Lacking true name value in their current safety pairing, the Baltimore Ravens could look to get their pick of a 2021 NFL Draft safety class that has been pushed to the wayside in favor of bigger names.

Explosive on tape, Trevon Moehrig is a conventional six-foot-two safety with the versatility to tackle in the open field and keep pace with downfield shots. Hampered by a back injury that limited him to “80 percent,” Moehrig still posted a 4.5-forty and 33-inch vertical. The top safety of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens can find a plug-and-play defensive solution even at the rear of the first round.

With franchise legend Drew Brees retired and Jameis Winston at the helm in the Super Dome, the New Orleans Saints will use the 2021 NFL Draft to continue to add weapons and make Winston’s job easier in an explosive NFC South. Having lost Emmanuel Sanders, the Saints make sure to retain their depth with an addition in the 2021 NFL Draft eerily reminiscent of current number one wide receiver Michael Thomas.

Displaying excellent agility off of the line of scrimmage and an innate sense of using his six-foot-two frame to box out cornerbacks for rhythmic completions to the inside. Operating as the number one option in a Minnesota Gopher’s offense built around the RPO, Bateman fits the current NFL as a receiver who can create separation within the first two seconds of his route, offer a friendly frame to his quarterback, and turn upfield for cheap yardage after the catch.

Alongside Thomas, Winston would have two options that can reliably break open before the pass-rush can get home on any given down.

As the rest of the NFL has collected explosive weapons with the ability to do the job themselves, the Green Bay Packers have remained committed to giving Aaron Rodgers big-body targets unable to create vertical separation. Davante Adams has asserted himself as a top-five talent with his footwork and route running, but the Packers offense has still missed a playmaker with post-catch value since Randall Cobb.

With multiple choice at the back of the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Packers take a chance on possibly the most athletically impressive of this year’s class of undersized burners. Only standing at five-foot-seven, Purdue’s Rondale Moore made his rounds of the internet with a 4.33-forty and 42.5-inch vertical. Having been a multi-dimensional threat for the Boilermakers on both offense and special teams, Moore is the exact kind of receiver the Packers fans have been thirsting for.
