TE. 26. Pick Analysis. Boston College. Hunter Long. 3. player. Scouting Report

Hunter Long has moved up draft boards after an extremely strong pro day. On the field, Long demonstrated a good ability to catch the ball and block, the most important aspects of a tight ends game.

For the Baltimore Ravens, Long would give them what the team was using Hayden Hurst as in 2019 when the team was one of the top teams in the league. Long would slot in as the number two tight end both as a blocker behind a hopefully healthy Nick Boyle and as a pass-catcher behind Mark Andrews.

The Raven’s offense relies heavily on their tight ends and Long would be the perfect addition to the strong power run offense of the Baltimore Ravens.

26. Pick Analysis. Elerson Smith. EDGE. Northern Iowa. 4. player. Scouting Report

Elerson Smith is an interesting prospect that should take a year or two to develop. In a position of need for the Ravens, Smith could learn on the fly and be forced straight into the action.

A long and lanky EDGE rusher at 6-foot-6, 262-pounds, Smith improved every year during his time at Northern Iowa including a 14-sack final season.

Smith seemingly turned eyes at the Resse’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama and that’s just what could help the EDGE rusher from Minnesota move his stock up. Coaches love to take potential and build on it and Smith is full of it, especially with his size.
