2. player. 26. Pick Analysis. Quincy Roche. Miami (FL). Scouting Report. EDGE

What can be seen as the team’s biggest hole, the Ravens are in dire need of impactful EDGE rushers, a position that has always been seen as a strong suit for the team. After losing both Judon and Yannick Ngakoue, the team must draft a player they believe will be a rookie starter. Quincy Roche should be viewed as a day one starter.

Roche, a former Temple, and Miami player was an absolute force to be reckoned with from the EDGE position. While he has been overshadowed by Gregory Rousseau and Jalen Phillips throughout the draft process, Roche himself put together 30.5 sacks over the past four years including 13.0 in 2019.

More impressively he had 54.0 tackles for loss over those four years, never having less than nine in a season.

At 6-foot-3, 245-pounds, Roche has a big frame that allows him to move blockers and power through them. Roche also has an extensive list of pass-rushing moves that allows him to get to the quarterback.

Regardless if the Ravens like another EDGE rusher in this spot, they must solve its issues at the position. Roche proved year in and year out that he can wreak havoc in the offensive backfield as a run stopper or a pass rusher.
