Cincinnati Bengals mock draft: Round 6, 190th overall

Pick Analysis. CB. LSU. Kary Vincent Jr.. 6. Scouting Report. player. 817

Kary Vincent Jr. is a tremendous athlete at the cornerback position who displays impressive short-area quickness and explosive deep speed. He mirrors opposing receivers in man coverage extremely well and shows fantastic natural click-and-close ability. He is consistently impressive in man coverage and also shows solid overall ball skills.

As exciting as Vincent is athletically, he lacks ideal size and functional strength is an issue. He simply will not be able to defend bigger receivers at the next level and will be forced to primarily defend the slot. A talented slot defender certainly has plenty of value but Vincent is a limited player who will have to be hidden at times. However, for the cost of a sixth-round pick, it would be worth betting on Vincent’s athletic upside.

Cincinnati Bengals mock draft: Round 6, 202nd overall

879. Scouting Report. 6. player. Pick Analysis. WR. Clemson. Cornell Powell

With their final pick of this 2021 NFL mock draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select Cornell Powell, an interesting wide receiver prospect out of Clemson. Powell struggled to see the field until this past season, sitting behind many big-time NFL receivers throughout his college career. However, once Powell was able to get a chance to prove himself, he shined in Clemson’s wide-open offensive attack.

Powell is not an elite athlete at the wide receiver position but he shows good quickness and is a smooth route runner who understands how to create space. Powell shows impressive natural body control, adjusts to the ball in the air extremely well and has some upside as a run-after-catch playmaker. The Bengals have put together a nice group of playmakers at the wide receiver position but Powell is simply too good of a value to ignore in this range. He is a good football player who would be able to come in and make an immediate offensive impact for this team.
