Chicago needs to find someone who can play opposite of Eddie Jackson in the secondary. The team will likely bring in a free agent or resign Tashaun Gipson to fill this need. However, it would still be wise to draft someone in the 2021 NFL Draft to at least add depth. A prospect who would be good value at this point in the draft is TCU’s Ar’Darius Washington, who despite being on the smaller side is a physical player who fits in well at strong safety.

When the team chose to replace Leonard Floyd with Robert Quinn they made one of the worst decisions of the 2020 offseason. Floyd went on to have a great year with the Rams and Quinn has been extremely average in Chicago. While it is doubtful the Bears will be able to get a starter this late in the draft they could get a productive college pass rusher in Malcolm Koonce.

Even though the Bears have two solid players already at this position in Jimmy Graham and Cole Kmet the team needs to add depth. A possible steal in the 2021 NFL Draft could be small school tight end, Zach Davidson. Davidson has put up some outstanding testing numbers for a 6-foot-7 tight end, including a 4.62 40-yard dash and a 6.95 three-cone time. He was also very productive in college finishing the 2019 season with 15 touchdown receptions.
