Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Edge. player. Notre Dame. Daelin Hayes. 4. 54

The Philadelphia Eagles have plenty of decisions to make on the defensive line a year from now. Former first-round pick Derek Barnett is a free agent, as is former Florida State edge Josh Sweat. Genard Avery and Vinny Curry also have expiring contracts in 2022. So, expect Roseman and company to find someone on the edge in this draft.

Daelin Hayes brings agility, a very good first step, and a strong initial punch at contact. He does well gaining leverage initially on reps and has shown the ability to drop into coverage as well. Like Meinerz, Hayes is a player who can initially be buried on the depth chart, but find a starting role in 2022.

player. 5. 54. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Safety. Missouri. Joshuah Bledsoe

Just because the Philadelphia Eagles added Jaycee Horn in this mock, doesn’t mean that they’re done. This secondary needs revamping, and here the Eagles land a versatile player in Joshuah Bledsoe. Bledsoe might fit best as a nickel defender, where he can use his football IQ, ball skills and recovery quickness to lockdown slot receivers.

Tight End. 54. 6. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Michigan. Nick Eubanks

With Zach Ertz on the way out, the Philadelphia Eagles will likely look to the draft to find an eventual TE2 in this offense behind Dallas Goedert. Enter Michigan tight end Nick Eubanks.

Eubanks is a good athlete who can be a very productive player in the receiving game. He adjusts well to the football, makes tough catches through contact, and is a great mover with solid routes. Eubanks is also a competitive blocker who can be a developmental steal this late in the draft.
