2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 27th overall

Pick Analysis. Caleb Farley. 16. player. Player Stats. CB. Virginia Tech. 27

Caleb Farley has become one of the most difficult players to evaluate in the entire 2021 NFL Draft class. He is an absolute shutdown cornerback in the making on the outside, displaying a tremendous combination of size, quickness and athleticism at the position. However, his back issue does not seem to be going away and has to be a major concern for NFL teams.

Without much medical information available, it is impossible to put a value on Farley right now. That being said, if his back holds up, he will likely grow into an impact defensive player at the next level. The Buffalo Bills have a loaded roster with impact players on both sides of the ball. They feel like a team that can afford to take a risk on Farley and if it works out well, he could be a player who takes them over the top.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 28th overall

Pick Analysis. 28. Player Stats. Ole Miss. Elijah Moore. player. 15. WR

Elijah Moore had a fantastic final season at Ole Miss, taking his game to the next level in the Lane Kiffin offensive attack. Moore is a tremendous athlete at the wide receiver position who displays an incredible combination of quickness and explosive speed. Moore did most of his damage out of the slot, showing the ability to take a short pass and create after the catch and also stretch the field vertically. However, he also has the ability to make an impact on the outside.

The New Orleans Saints lack impact talent behind Michael Thomas at the wide receiver position and it would be great to see them develop a talented player like Moore on the roster. Snagging him at No. 28 feels like a strong move for the team.
