2021 NFL mock draft: Round 1, 1st overall
No surprise at the top of this NFL mock draft as the Jacksonville Jaguars make the obvious pick and select Trevor Lawrence as their new franchise quarterback. Lawrence is the best quarterback prospect to enter the draft in recent memory and would give Jacksonville a legitimate star player to build their team around.
Lawrence is a supremely gifted quarterback prospect who undoubtedly has massive upside at the next level. He has an extremely strong throwing arm, shows the ability to change his arm angle when needed and shows pinpoint accuracy to all levels of the field. Lawrence is also a fantastic athlete at the quarterback position who can make plays with his legs. He sees rushing lanes extremely well and shows fantastic natural speed in the open field.
Simply put, Lawrence is an elite quarterback prospect who feels like a fair bet to be an absolute superstar at the next level. The Jaguars are putting together a strong roster with impact young talent on both sides of the ball. Lawrence would be the centerpiece who brings it all together.
