EDGE. 27. player. Gregory Rousseau. 26. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Miami (FL)

The Baltimore Ravens have become one of the best teams in the league when it comes to reloading. Whenever a player leaves the organization they find a way to replace them within a year or two, that is if the replacement wasn’t already within the organization before the departure. One departure that they might have to address in the 2021 NFL Draft is the loss of Matthew Judon off the edge.

Edge rushers are a big part of the game, especially when you play in a division that has T.J. Watt and Myles Garrett coming off the edge in Pittsburgh and Cleveland, respectively. For the Ravens, adding a player like Gregory Rousseau will be key in the draft. In 2019, Rousseau posted 19.5 tackles for loss as well as 15.5 sacks, which seem like absurd numbers.

While the Ravens have other needs, like adding another wide receiver and addressing the Orlando Brown situation, investing in an edge rusher here is their best bet. Marquise Brown and company will be just fine at wide receiver and any return in an Orlando Brown trade should present a solution, leaving this pick for the edge rusher their defense needs to create more pressure on opposing teams.
