Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oklahoma State. Teven Jenkins. player. 28. OT. 17

The Las Vegas Raiders showed promising growth during the 2020 season, but they lost a big piece on the offensive line in Trent Brown. Playing right tackle, Brown was a big part of the running game success for the Raiders and leaves a gaping hole on the line for Las Vegas to fill. Luckily, they are in a good position in this draft to find a replacement.

Unlike last year when we saw tackle after tackle go in the top half of the draft, this year’s class should be more weighted towards the bottom of the first round. While I don’t necessarily see Teven Jenkins as the third-best tackle in this draft, he’s the third off the board based on the needs of Las Vegas.

Jenkins has a lot of experience at both right and left tackle, giving the Raiders flexibility with Kolton Miller to find the best combination of the two tackles. At Oklahoma State, Jenkins played a big role in the success of Chuba Hubbard’s rushing attack which is what the Raiders will hope to get from him for Josh Jacobs and now Kenyan Drake. Unless the Raiders make a surprising signing for an offensive tackle, this pick seems almost like a lock.
