Jacksonville Jaguars make big move for Kyle Pitts in 7-round mock draft
The Jacksonville Jaguars have an opportunity to remake their roster and get their franchise back on track this offseason. It all started with the hiring of Urban Meyer who will take over as the head coach of the team after a long and successful career in college football. Meyer is one of the most respected coaches from the college football ranks but he has never coached at the NFL level. It will be interesting to see how his style translates.
Jacksonville was able to make some interesting additions in free agency but they did so in a relatively responsible matter. The Jags’ major free-agent additions this offseason included cornerback Shaquill Griffin, safety Rayshawn Jenkins and wide receiver Marvin Jones. All three of these players will come in and make an immediate impact but the Jags appear to want to primarily build this team through the draft.
Speaking of the draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars certainly have an opportunity to find multiple impact players throughout the process this offseason. Not only do the Jags hold the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, but they also have an extra first-round selection (25th overall) and two picks in the second round (33rd and 45th overall). How can the Jags make the most out of this extra draft capital? Find out in this complete seven-round mock draft for the team.

Jacksonville Jaguars mock draft: Round 1, 1st overall
Lock this pick in and throw away the key. Trevor Lawrence is the best quarterback to enter the NFL Draft in a while and the Jacksonville Jaguars need a face of the franchise. He has always been the likely No.1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and is the right guy to lead this team into the future. No reason to dwell on this pick any longer. Lawrence will be the selection for Jacksonville at No. 1 and he will be great.
