While the San Francisco 49ers have not been big players so far in free agency, they have filled some needs already this offseason, especially in the secondary. However, the team has several needs they will still try to fill in the 2021 NFL Draft. The 49ers make the most out of their draft capital in this complete seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft for the team.

While the 49ers may give serious consideration to trading up for a quarterback, the asking price to do this will likely be too high. The team also has several other holes to fill and it would not be a shock if they ended up trading down in the 2021 NFL Draft. If they stay pat though, San Francisco may look to fill its biggest need on offense which is right guard.

A player who would be a great addition with the 12th pick is Northwestern offensive lineman Rashawn Slater. Slater is the second-best offensive lineman in the draft and is someone who could be a day one starter for the 49ers at right guard. He would be an ideal fit in San Francisco as he has the mobility to play in the team’s zone offense, and his short arms would also be less of a concern if he played offensive guard.

WR. Rondale Moore. 42. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Purdue. 2. player

The 49ers seem to be happy with their top two wide receivers in Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel. However, they should be looking to add a slot receiver early in the 2021 NFL Draft. The player they would prefer for this role is a shifty wide receiver who can make plays after the catch. The teams would also like for this player to be able to return kicks.

A player the team can get in the second round that fits this mold is Rondale Moore of Purdue. Despite battling injuries most of his career, Moore has been one of the most dynamic receivers in the Big Ten. Moore also has experience returning kicks and is an extremely explosive player in the open field.
