2021 NFL Mock Draft: 32nd pick

Scouting Report. Miami. Gregory Rousseau. 32. player. 48. Pick Analysis. EDGE

Tampa Bay Buccaneers key additions so far

  • All about retaining

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers struck gold this past season with Tom Brady at the quarterback position and a wide array of one-year or last-year contract players who just clicked perfectly at the right time.

Now, they’re trying to run it back.

The Bucs brought back Rob Gronkowski, Shaquil Barrett, Lavonte David, Chris Godwin, and even the kicker Ryan Succop.

There are still some players they are working to bring back like Ndamukong Suh and Antonio Brown, but for the most part, the band is back together for Tampa Bay and they will have a good shot of representing the NFC in the Super Bowl again in the 2021 season.

In this mock draft scenario, it’s a case of the rich getting richer.

Todd Bowles’ defense needs versatile, aggressive players and Gregory Rousseau has seen his stock dip dramatically after opting out of the 2020 season.

Still, even with a small sample from Miami, Rousseau showed that he can be a tremendous pass rusher both off the edge and lined up on the interior defensive line. Todd Bowles could help maximize his talent early on and the Bucs could have a steal on their hands here.
