NFL Mock Draft 2021: 2 rounds post-free agency first wave
2021 NFL Mock Draft: 11th pick
New York Giants key additions so far
- WR John Ross III
- TE Kyle Rudolph
- RB Devontae Booker
- QB Mike Glennon
The New York Giants took care of one of their own with former trade acquisition Leonard Williams, who signed a big-money contract to remain the anchor of the Giants’ defense.
Offensively, the Giants were able to make some solid moves to upgrade the weaponry for quarterback Dani
The biggest move of the ones listed is tight end Kyle Rudolph, a cap casualty of the Vikings whose best days are probably in the rearview, but he provides an experienced veteran who will help not only in the passing game but as a blocker as well.
John Ross is a fun risk/reward proposition with his elite deep speed. He’s shown an ability to be very productive when healthy in the NFL but that has unfortunately been difficult for him to do.
The off-field concerns with Micah Parsons are somewhat unknown at this point with people questioning his maturity, though there is some documented information about Parsons being involved in some hazing at Penn State.
Teams will need to do their due diligence on Parsons as a guy, but there’s no question about the productivity and versatility he brings to the field.
Parsons can not only make plays with his range, but he can rush the passer and knife behind the line of scrimmage with relative ease.
