While the offensive line is a strength for the Dallas Cowboys, there are a few questions regarding the interior. The Cowboys hope that Tyler Biadasz becomes the long-term starter at center, but it and one of the guard spots could be up for grabs. The 2021 NFL Draft has some gems in the class along the interior offensive line, one of those being Illinois’ Kendrick Green.

Green flashes great power at the point of attack and doesn’t give up ground in pass protection. He has very good awareness both in space and in picking up stunts and is very good at climbing to the second level. Green is also a finisher with his blocks, and he could be a great long-term answer on day three, something that isn’t often said.

The Cowboys aren’t done addressing the safety position here, as they select Georgia’s Richard LeCounte III. He may not be an elite athlete with the range that Washington has, but what he lacks there he makes up for with his football IQ.

LeCounte has great instincts and a knack for recognizing route concepts in front of him. He’s good at reading the quarterback’s eyes and closing in coverage. He excels best in a two-deep shell but he can be great working downhill as a tackler.
