Scouting Report. Safety. player. Pick Analysis. TCU. Ar'Darius Washington. 3. 872

The safety position is one to watch for the Dallas Cowboys in free agency. With quite a few names still out there, it’s possible it gets addressed. But for now, there’s no guarantee. This team needs a playmaker who can become a playmaker in a variety of ways. That’s what TCU’s Ar’Darius Washington does for you.

Don’t let his size prevent you from drafting him. He has excellent instincts and range to play single high or in a deep third. His closing speed is very good and he has great change of direction skills. Washington will also come up and lay the boom at times near the line of scrimmage. His game is well-rounded enough to become a versatile, impact player.

Defensive Tackle. Texas AM. Bobby Brown. Pick Analysis. 3. player. 873. Scouting Report

The Dallas Cowboys have four total compensatory picks, and they land a true 1-technique here late in the third round. Dallas desperately needs help in the middle of their defense, and Bobby Brown can be that player.

Brown has impressive physical traits. He has power in his lower half and won’t get moved off his spot against the run. Brown flashes good short area quickness to win around defenders to make plays in the backfield. He has a motor that runs hot, and if he continues to develop as a pass rusher, Brown could be an anchor in the middle of the defense.
