2021 NFL mock draft: Round 2, 35th overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 35. 44. EDGE. Oklahoma. Ronnie Perkins

The Atlanta Falcons continue to build through the trenches. Ronnie Perkins is a quick and powerful edge rusher who shows strong hands and a nice array of pass rush moves. He uses his powerful hands well to keep opposing offensive linemen off balance and make plays in the backfield as a pass rusher and run defender.

Perkins does tend to play a little out of control at this point of his career, but he is undoubtedly a talented player who has three-down ability at the next level. After stabalizing their offensive line with the selection of Penei Sewell earlier in this NFL mock draft, the Falcons solidify their defensive line by adding Perkins.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 2, 36th overall

Clemson. Travis Etienne. 36. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. RB. 59

Travis Etienne is an explosive running back prospect who finds the crease quickly and shows tremendous burst through the hole. He has leigitimate home run speed in the open field and shows great natural power for a speed back. Etienne also does a great job of maintaining his balance through contact and has significantly improved as a pass catcher in recent years.

The Miami Dolphins will be searching for a featured back this offseason and Etienne has the talent to come in and be the guy. Snagging him here early in the second round is a scenario that would certainly make sense for the team.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 2, 37th overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Georgia. 37. player. 54. CB. Eric Stokes

Cornerback stands out as an obvious position of need for the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason and Eric Stokes stands out as a nice value pick in this range. Stokes is an extremely fast and athletic cornerback prospect who sees the field well and does a great job of attacking the ball in zone coverage. Stokes struggles a bit when asked to play man at times but he undoubtedly has the skill-set to shine in that area with proper development.
