The Cleveland Browns are one of the NFL’s top young teams led by AP Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski.
With Stefanski getting some nice reinforcements offensively in the form of Odell Beckham Jr. coming back off of injury, the Browns need to allocate their biggest free agent dollar budget to the defensive front.
A player like Trey Hendrickson would be a huge coup for Cleveland, although their list doesn’t have to be limited in a very deep free agent class.
Any pass rusher the Browns add is going to have a great situation to step into because of the attention commanded by Myles Garrett.
Trey Hendrickson, having played with Cameron Jordan, is no stranger to playing in a favorable situation, but he’s developed into a heck of a threat on his own.
He racked up 13.5 sacks and 25 quarterback hits last season for a very good Saints defense. At 26 years of age, the best days are likely yet ahead for Hendrickson who could provide the Browns the best pass rush duo in the entire league if he signs on.
