NFL Free Agency 2021: Predicting one move for all 32 teams
The Minnesota Vikings have some re-shuffling to do on the offensive line for 2021.
After the predicted release of left tackle Riley Reiff, the Vikings could look to move Ezra Cleveland — a second-round pick in 2020 — back to the left tackle spot after he played (well) in 2020 at right guard.
Regardless of what the Vikings do with Cleveland, they’re likely to need at least a couple of starters on the interior offensive line, and a player like Kevin Zeitler could fill one of those spots at least for the time being.
Zeitler was a big-money free agent pickup for the Cleveland Browns in 2017 but he was traded to the New York Giants in the Odell Beckham Jr. deal in 2019.
Now, the Giants have moved on, and Zeitler is once again an unrestricted free agent.
Although this wouldn’t be the type of move you brag about to your friends at the water cooler, a player like Zeitler could make the Vikings’ offense better.
