2. New York Jets

The New York Jets have one of the worst rosters in the NFL, and they have to be active and aggressive in using their available cap space to upgrade.

Whether it’s Kenny Golladay or another free agent receiver like JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Jets have to find weapons for the passing game.

Golladay might seem a bit redundant on paper with Denzel Mims in the mix, but the Jets can’t pass on the chance at a proven veteran receiver like this who had 11 touchdown catches two seasons ago.

Whether it’s Sam Darnold throwing the ball or a rookie from the 2021 NFL Draft class, the Jets have to be certain they add weapons to the passing game. With over $67 million in projected space, this team has needs to fill and Golladay becoming available at his age (27) is a rarity.

Adding this kind of vertical threat to the offense Mike LaFleur will want to run would really open things up for the Jets in the passing attack.
