Indianapolis Colts 2021 mock draft: Rest of Day Three

5. Jaelon Darden, WR, North Texas

If TY Hilton leaves in free agency, the Colts could probably get by with what they have at the wide receiver position for a season, but they would be wise to dip into the stellar 2021 NFL Draft class at the position.

Jaelon Darden has tremendous speed and although he’s not the biggest receiver in the draft, he’s one of the biggest playmakers.

Not that he would immediately replace the veteran Hilton, but Darden could provide an explosive element even as a rookie.

6. Israel Mukuamu, DB, South Carolina

Once regarded as a potential day one or two selection, the hype on Mukuamu has cooled off considerably.

He picked off seven passes in 22 career games for the Gamecocks and he has outstanding size. At 6-foot-4, Mukuamu could be looking at a transition to safety at the next level.

7. Bryan Mills, CB, NC Central

One of the top FCS defensive prospects in this class, Bryan Mills is exactly what you want in a late-round flyer type. He has tremendous length at 6-foot-2 and would be a fun developmental player at outside cornerback for the Colts.
