2. Anthony Schwartz, Auburn Tigers

Auburn’s Anthony Schwartz may be the fastest player in the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s a true speedster. He is a former track star who ran at the IAAF U20 World Championships in July 2018. There he took silver in100 meters (10.22) and gold in the 4×100-meter relay (38.88) for Team USA.

Watch the following play of Schwartz getting the ball and taking it to the house.

Schwartz just runs past everyone and makes it look easy!

For the Dallas Cowboys, Schwartz may be a more realistic pick than Tutu Atwell. Schwartz ranks 138th on the CBS 2021 NFL Draft prospect rankings. If they were to target Schwartz, they wouldn’t have to use as high of a pick to get him.

His ranking is likely due to his production at Auburn. His best season as a receiver was in 2020, when he totaled 54 catches for 636 yards and three touchdowns. Schwartz isn’t the most refined when it comes to route-running and needs work in several other areas, but he has reliable hands and knows how to get open using his speed.

If the Dallas Cowboys want to add speed, they may not need to look any further than Anthony Schwartz. He would add a huge element to this offense that has been lacking for quite some time.
