Wide Receiver. Kadarius Toney. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 30. Florida. 23

After grabbing a quarterback atop this 2021 NFL mock draft, the Jets have a ton of holes to fill. Luckily for them, they have a ton of picks to help do that. At this point in the first round, they could go in a variety of directions.

They could opt for a cornerback if they have one on their board that they like. They could go with an edge rusher like Azeez Ojulari, who I think would be a great fit for them. They could even make a splash and take one of the top two running backs in this draft class.

In this NFL mock draft, the Jets opt for a dynamic wide receiver to help out their new, young quarterback. Kadarius Toney is an outstanding playmaker, who is deadly with the ball in his hands. Yet another guy that you can just gameplan to get the ball in his hands quickly and let him go to work.

With Jamison Crowder likely being a cap casualty for a rebuilding team like the New York Jets, Kadarius Toney would be the perfect player to slide right in from this 2021 NFL mock draft. He is a great slot receiver who runs great routes and can impact the game in a variety of ways.

The Jets drafted Denzel Mims in the second round a year ago, and I think Toney would be the perfect complement. The Jets still have a long way to go if they want to develop into true contenders, but adding pieces like Toney is a must if they want to be successful moving forward.
