Even though Jacksonville has already addressed this need in the second round with the selection of Brevin Jordan, the team could look to add another tight end late in the draft. This is due to the fact the team has pretty much nothing at this position if both Tyler Eifert and James O’Shaughnessy leave this offseason.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could look to add more of a blocking tight end at this point in the draft and a player Urban Meyer has a history with is Luke Farrell of Ohio State. Farrell was one of the best blocking tight ends in the Big Ten last year as he helped Ohio State average 257 rushing yards a game last season. He would likely compete for the number three tight end spot in Jacksonville.

At this point in the draft, Jacksonville will just be looking for a developmental prospect as they have already addressed all their needs with their first ten picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. Plus, it is never a bad idea to add a developmental offensive lineman late in the draft.

In Division II prospect Kion Smith the team gets an athletic lineman who shows intriguing upside. He will likely be someone they can place on the practice squad and continue to develop him next year.
