Baltimore Ravens reload the trenches in 7-round 2021 mock draft
Wide receiver is undoubtedly one of the biggest needs for the Baltimore Ravens heading into the 2021 NFL Draft season.
The good news for Baltimore is this is another absolutely loaded class at the receiver position and there are a number of big-bodied “X” types of receivers they can pull from.
One player who is particularly intriguing for the Ravens is Michigan’s Nico Collins.
Jim Harbaugh would be able to give a strong endorsement for Collins to his brother John and there is no question that Collins is the type of receiver the Ravens’ offense is lacking.
Collins at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, is the type of size mismatch the Ravens’ offense needs. They have obviously been hoping for a breakthrough from 2019 third-round pick Miles Boykin, but he hasn’t put it all together on the field yet and they can’t really wait much longer and keep passing on players.
Nico Collins opted out of the 2020 season but was consistently Michigan’s best offensive player from 2018-19. Anytime I turned on the tape to watch Donovan Peoples-Jones, it was Nico Collins who kept stealing the show.
This guy paired up with Hollywood Brown in the Ravens’ offense could be deadly.
