Miami Dolphins 2021 NFL mock draft: Round 6, 203rd overall

Scouting Report. player. Pick Analysis. WR. Clemson. Cornell Powell. 6. 879

Cornell Powell exploded onto the scene for Clemson this season, catching 53 passes for 882 yards and seven touchdowns on the year. He is a quick and decisive route-runner who separates easily from man coverage, tracks the ball in the air extremely well and displays soft hands at all times.

Powell also shows impressive deep ball ability and uses his speed and quickness well to create after the catch. Make no mistake about it, Powell is an exciting playmaker who could quickly grow into an impact player at the next level. The Dolphins are likely to address their wide receiver position early in the 2021 NFL Draft, but do not be surprised to see them double-dip at the position with a guy like Powell late.

Miami Dolphins 2021 NFL mock draft: Round 6, 208th overall

Pick Analysis. 6. 811. Scouting Report. RB. Michigan. Chris Evans. player

Selecting Javonte Williams earlier in this 2021 NFL mock draft makes running back a much lesser need for the Miami Dolphins. That being said, they still need depth at the position and Chris Evans has high upside for a player selected this late.

Evans did not see the field much at Michigan, but he is a tough and physical runner who displays fantastic contact balance and quick feet. He put his obvious skill-set on display at the Senior Bowl, consistently making plays from the running back position. Evans feels like the kind of running back who is going to go completely under-the-radar but carve out a valuable role at the next level. He would undoubtedly be a nice depth addition for Miami late in the draft.
