Miami Dolphins stockpile talent in 7-round 2021 NFL mock draft
Miami Dolphins 2021 NFL mock draft: Round 2, 50th overall
The Dolphins did a great job of remaking their offensive line last offseason and while all of those players are not guaranteed to be successful, they now have a lot of interesting talent up front worth betting on.
Austin Jackson at left tackle, Ereck Flowers at left guard, Solomon Kindley at right guard and Robert Hunt at right tackle stands out as a strong core to build around up front. However, with Ted Karras hitting free agency this offseason, center could be a position of need for the team.
Landon Dickerson is a mean and nasty offensive line prospect who is absolutely dominant at the point of attack. He is an incredibly tough player who consistently dominates at the first level, using strong hands and great pad level to take care of powerful players on the inside.
While Dickerson is a limited athlete, his power is completely overwhelming for most defenders and his football IQ consistently stands out. The Dolphins have done a nice job of building a big and powerful offensive line and Dickerson feels like an absolutely perfect fit to anchor the middle of the unit.
Dickerson suffered a major knee injury late last season and that is obviously a major concern. That being said, if he checks out medically, Dickerson could be a massive steal in this range. If center remains a position of need for the Dolphins entering the 2021 NFL Draft, Dickerson would be an obvious target for the team.
