2021 NFL Draft: Alabama sets first-round pick record in 2-round mock draft

2021 NFL Draft: Round 1, 4th overall
The Atlanta Falcons could be one of the teams primed to trade up in the draft. They would likely make this move to make sure they got one of the quarterbacks they wanted. However, if the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins stay where they are at things could fall perfectly for the Falcons.
If the draft fell this way, it would allow the Falcons to take their future franchise quarterback with the fourth pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. This is a need as Matt Ryan will be 36 next year, and the team has no potential replacement for him on their roster.
In Justin Fields, the Falcons are getting a multi-dimensional player who can win with both his feet and his arm. During his college career Fields has been one of the more accurate quarterbacks in the Big Ten as he finished second in the conference in completion percentage.
His accuracy has been on display in all areas as well as he consistently hits the short to intermediate routes but also has good placement on the deep ball. He displays the arm strength, leadership and ability to make plays when things break down which is another key attribute the team wants to see out of a potential franchise quarterback.
If all three of the top quarterbacks are off the board by the time Atlanta picks, they could consider taking a cornerback at this spot.
