2021 NFL Draft: Alabama sets first-round pick record in 2-round mock draft

2021 NFL Draft: Round 1, 25th overall
The Jacksonville Jaguars are another team that had a high first-round pick that went with a quarterback that comes back and grabs a Georgia corner later in the first round of the draft. The team is looking for someone to pair with 2020 first-round pick C.J. Henderson as Tre Henderson had issues with penalties last year and Sidney Jones battled injuries.
While I have Eric Stokes teammate Tyson Campbell going ahead of him in this mock draft I actually have Stokes as the higher-rated corner on my board. Like Campbell, Stokes has a nice size and speed combination that will attract scouts. Stokes is listed at 6-foot-1 which is just one inch shorter than his teammate. He also has the speed to go along with this size, as he ran a 10.39 100-meter dash in high school.
In terms of where Stokes would fit the Jacksonville Jaguars, he would likely be the team’s number two corner next year. This would allow them to move Tre Henderson to nickel corner and give the team a solid group of corners to build around. Plus if you watch any film of Ohio State you quickly realize how important this position is to new coach Urban Meyer.
