2021 NFL Draft: Round 1, 22nd overall

22. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Azeez Ojulari. 35. OLB. Georgia

The biggest need the Titans have this offseason is finding edge pass rushers. The team tried to address this need last offseason by signing Vic Beasley and Jadeveon Clowney but neither one of these players made much of an impact. Overall, the team finished with only 19 sacks which placed 30th in the NFL. The only bright spot for the team at this position was Harold Landry III who recorded 5.5 sacks on the year and was the only Titans outside linebacker to record more than one sack on the year.

A player who would be a good pick-up at this point in the draft is Georgia outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari. Ojulari would be a good fit here as he can get after the passer as he recorded 11 sacks over the last two years at Georgia. He also has experience playing outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense as it is the same scheme Georgia runs.

I would look for Ojulari to be able to earn a starting spot on the Titans defense as a rookie, and instantly upgrade the Titans pass rush. I also would not be surprised if Tennessee goes back to this position later in the draft to add some depth.
