The Baltimore Ravens still have one of the best rosters in the AFC, and continue to draft well. Their top priority in the 2021 NFL Draft will likely be to find a player who can help out Lamar Jackson in the passing game, but this has always been a best player available type of organization.

It’s likely that Baltimore lets Matt Judon walk in free agency, which leaves them down a player to rush the passer. Jaelan Phillips could bring the juice back to the pass rush. His athleticism and counters are impressive, and he could make an impact from the jump.

The New Orleans Saints will be a team in transition. The good news is that Drew Brees helped them a little with their cap situation, but the bad news is that they have a long way to go. No matter how many cuts they have to make, this is still a contending team with enough at quarterback.

Linebacker is the one area that could be addressed in the 2021 NFL Draft. Pigeonholing him into a position isn’t the right move, but Notre Dame’s Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is a perfect second-level defender for the Saints. He has the range, quickness, and coverage skills to be a traditional off-ball linebacker and a tight end eraser.
