Jonathan Adams, Arkansas State

Arkansas State wide receiver Jonathan Adams burst onto the scene against Kansas State this year. In the September 12th matchup, Adams caught three touchdown passes and was one of the reasons the Red Wolves were able to pull the upset. This game was not the only great game Adams had this year, as he finished with four games where he had over 130 receiving yards. Overall on the season, Adams accounted for 79 receptions for 1,111 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.

What really stands out with Adams is how physical of a receiver he is when making the catch. He does a great job of going and getting the ball, and in fact, finished first in the NCAA this year with 20 contested catches according to Pro Football Focus. His strength also allows him to be a great red-zone target evident by 12 touchdowns this season, which placed him third in the country.

One thing Adams needs to work at the next level is his route running. He is far from polished in this area and was able to win a lot of matchups in college based solely on his strength. He also is not the quickest receiver in the draft, so gaining separation could be a problem for him.
