It’s no secret that the Buccaneers will have a plethora of weapons to work with in Super Bowl LV. Both tight ends will be involved, and Antonio Brown is set to return. Scotty Miller has also become a favorite target of Brady’s down the stretch. However, there’s one player who has contributed in a small sample size that could be set up for a big game on the biggest stage. That is rookie wide receiver Tyler Johnson.

Johnson has recorded just one game with over three catches and 50 yards, all the way back in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears. His snap percentage decreased to single digits by midseason but has been steadily growing since then.

While Johnson has only had two catches in the postseason, he has gotten plenty of praise from Bruce Arians along with Brady, who has said he needs to look his way more.

Johnson fell in the draft amid a deep group of wide receivers, and the Bucs added him to an already loaded wide receiver room. For someone who can produce in the slot and be relied on when called upon, the Super Bowl is exactly the place where he could shine. While the Chiefs key in on Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and the others, Johnson could make a few big plays and even find the end zone.
