2021 NFL Draft: 32nd pick

The Kansas City Chiefs have figured out a sustainable model of success that is commendable in today’s NFL.

The Chiefs were competitive in the AFC West even without Patrick Mahomes when Alex Smith was the quarterback, and this team has done a good job of identifying players who can play early and succeed quickly in their systems both offensively and defensively.

With that being said, the offensive line is an area that could need some serious attention as soon as the 2021 offseason.

Both Mitchell Schwartz and Eric Fisher will miss the Super Bowl due to injury, and the Chiefs could have an opportunity in the 2021 draft to really take advantage of the depth of this class at tackle.

Samuel Cosmi is not the most refined player at the position in this class, but he is extremely athletic, talented, and has the body type to excel against all types of rushers.

Because Cosmi is undoubtedly a developmental prospect at the tackle position, getting into a situation like Kansas City’s could be ideal for him. He can play on the right or left side at the next level.
