2021 NFL Draft: Huge QB trades in pre-Super Bowl mock draft
2021 NFL Draft: 29th pick
It’s going to be hard not to give the Green Bay Packers a wide receiver because there is a pretty good chance that is the route they go in 2021 with their top pick.
Although there is no denying Jordan Love is a talented quarterback prospect, Aaron Rodgers is still playing at an MVP level and the Packers could have really benefitted from having additional playmakers at wide receiver this past season.
At any rate, there could be an emphasis there with their top pick here in the first round of the 2021 draft, but with so many receivers off the board, the Packers go after a cornerback who can play both the nickel and outside roles.
For UCF, however, Robinson has primarily put his best stuff on tape playing in the slot. Because that spot on the defense has gotten undervalued a bit, there is no guarantee a player like Robinson will go in the first round.
The Packers will almost undoubtedly want conviction that he could play on the outside and maybe kick inside when they are in their nickel package if they are taking him with this pick. With his size, physicality, man coverage skills, and length, he’s really an intriguing option for teams needing a versatile weapon in their defensive backfield.
