No one knows quite what is going to happen with the Saints in the 2021 offseason but they are going to be a fascinating team to watch. At this point in time, a player like Zaven Collins could make some sense for New Orleans’ defense.
Collins is one of the most versatile players in this year’s draft class defensively and proved at Tulsa that he is a high-level playmaker whether he’s rushing the passer, playing in coverage, or playing the run.
The Saints drafted Zack Baun in 2020 which could make the selection of a player like Zaven Collins a bit redundant, but Collins is on a different level as a prospect coming out this year.
Collins plays with instincts and speed at all times, and his ball production as a linebacker is outstanding.
