2021 NFL Draft: 26th pick

Scouting Report. EDGE. Penn State. Jayson Oweh. player. Pick Analysis. 26. 53

With a drastically improved offensive line, Odell Beckham Jr. coming back in 2021, and the best running back duos in the NFL, there’s not much work to be done on the offensive side of the ball for the Browns.

Defensively, however, some moves could be made.

How impactful will the former LSU stars Grant Delpit and Greedy Williams be coming off of injury?

They might be a lot more impactful if the Browns are able to get a pass rusher with the athleticism and talent of Jayson Oweh.

Productivity is certainly not what Oweh is going to be known for. He didn’t have a sack in the shortened 2020 season for Penn State, but he was consistently putting pressure on the quarterback and making plays in the backfield.

With his speed and quickness off the ball combined with his strong hand punch and change of direction skills, Jayson Oweh could be a really good bookend for Myles Garrett and someone who could feast on one-on-one opportunities with his big-time athletic talent.

Oweh has the look of a player who could be better in the pros than he was in college, certainly more productive.

The furious speed at which Oweh plays the game would make him an absolute nightmare in tandem with Garrett.
