2021 NFL Draft: Huge QB trades in pre-Super Bowl mock draft
2021 NFL Draft: 22nd pick
The Tennessee Titans have certainly been seeking help in the pass rush department. They may have telegraphed their interest in pursuing top-flight edge players in the 2021 offseason by signing Jadeveon Clowney on the eve of the 2020 season.
Harold Landry wound up leading the Titans with 5.5 sacks in the 2020 season and obviously, that is unacceptable for a team that expects to be competing come January.
This is where a player like Azeez Ojulari could really come into play.
Ojulari was dominant in Georgia’s bowl game against Cincinnati with three tackles for loss, three sacks, and a pair of forced fumbles.
In terms of speed rushers, Ojulari is almost unquestionably the best in this year’s draft. There is no real clear-cut EDGE1 in this class and the list could shuffle a lot between now and April. With that said, there is a lot to like about Ojulari’s game from more than just a speed perspective, too.
Ojulari had 15 sacks and five forced fumbles over his 21 games from 2019-20 with the Bulldogs and he’s only scratching the surface of what he is capable of becoming.
