2021 NFL Draft: 21st-23rd picks
The most dynamic of the linebackers within the 2021 NFL draft, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is a rangy sideline-to-sideline tackler who displayed his indispensable worth covering mismatch receiving targets during his time in the Fighting Irish defense.
Koramoah fits the label of a modern linebacker and would fulfill a need within the heart of the Miami defense as a dynamic mismatch on the defensive side of the ball. Paired with the coaching of Brian Flores, Koramoah will become an integral cog to this defensive unit in both coverage and edge run-defense.
Lacking any sort of consistency in their pass-rush, the Tennessee Titans dip into the well of late first-round pass-rush prospects littered through the 2021 NFL draft. Fast-rising Georgia prospect Azeez Ojulari has impressed with his twitchiness off of the snap that translates directly into his power.
Despite lacking a deep repertoire of pass-rush moves, Ojulari combines his strength with an impressive bend around the edge to make plays on the quarterback. Added to the Titans stable of edge-rushers, Ojulari can be an impactful rotational pass-rusher.
With a trade seeing long-time defensive end J.J. Watt nearing with every day, the Houston Texans will be looking to expend their second selection received in return for Deshaun Watson on a piece to supplement his absence.
Alabama defensive tackle Christian Baremore has impressed throughout the college postseason as one of the best interior pass-rushers of the 2021 NFL draft with his surprising explosiveness at 311-pounds.
Combine this with the technical ability inherited from the Alabama coaching staff, Baremore has the potential to directly fulfill the role of Watt within the Houston defense.
