Baltimore Ravens 2021 NFL Draft needs

Interior Offensive line

Losing Marshall Yanda to retirement is a massive loss for the team, but they still managed to be among one of the best rushing offenses in football. The latter is due to the skillset of Jackson, Dobbins, and Edwards.

However, the team does possess two great tackles in Orlando Brown Jr. and Ronnie Stanley and center Patrick Mekari has done an admirable job. Ben Powers and Bradley Bozeman ranked towards the bottom of PFF offensive guards ranking and the team could use an upgrade at this position.

Regardless, the team could also be helped by adding additional depth of a rookie that can offer versatility, and this draft features a group of interior offensive lineman that can offer just that.

Cornerback

Marcus Peters and Marlon Humphrey are really good, but Jimmy Smith is aging and the importance of the nickel corner is growing in the league.

Thankfully, cornerback is a position that so many talented players are available and can develop with late-round players.

For the Ravens, this position goes hand and hand with the lack of pass rushers. Peters and Humphrey are great corners, but if the defense can’t get the quarterback down, then he’ll find an opening fast.

In a division that has Tee Higgins, Jarvis Landry, and Juju Smith-Schuster keyed into the slot, getting younger and faster at the nickel could be vital for the Ravens.
